Pictures of the last book I read and of the last place I visited, a XVII century graveyard in Munich that now serves as a park in which you can see people peacefully roam and children play among the stones. Truly a unique (and slightly disturbing) sight.

3/30 days of self care
No morning walk today, because it was rainy. The day started well anyway, I used the time I didn’t go out to journal. Study-wise I finished that last historiogaphical article I was reading, I annotated it and then I organized a bit what my work for the thesis will be in these next few days. The moment in which I will actually start writing (at least the first chapter) is getting closer and closer.
Self care things I did today:
- Read first thing in the morning
- Journaled and worked on my bujo
- Started to reread The Hobbit (one of my all time faves and also one of my comfort books, I really hope it will get me out of the weird reading slump I am in)
- Washed my hair (I also used a hair mask for an extra trea)
- Did a face scrub

Today I am grateful for the rain! It had been way too long since it last rained.
Share your to-do list for today! Do you often make to-do lists? Do you find they help you?
My brain cannot function without to-do lists, they are a fundamental part of my organization system. I need to put on paper a plan before I do anything. My to-do list for the day:
- Finish reading and annotating an historiographical article I was working on ✔
- Organize my study tasks for the rest of the week, and create a plan to start writing the first chapter of my thesis ✔
- Re-read my notes on the articles I want to use in the first chapter of my thesis, and start creating an actual plan on what to write ✔
- Daily Irish practice on duolingo ✔
I may have spent an hour waiting for the bus but at least I had a book to keep me company

moved from google calendar to notion since it has a more minimalist look (notion allows me to create a page and write down a list of tasks within it, so my calendar don’t look clogged).
I left. When the oldest was seven and the youngest was five, I left. I abandoned them and I didn’t see them for three years.
